14" Seasoned Carbon Steel Gratin Dish

The 14" Carbon Steel Oval Gratin delivers the high-heat performance of cast iron with the speed and control of stainless steel. Responsively engineered for roasting vegetables, crisping fish, or browning gratins, it’s a versatile piece built for both everyday meals and entertaining.

Pre-seasoned with a blend of shea nut and coconut oil, it arrives ready to cook and naturally non stick from the first use. Sloped walls and a wide oval surface provide generous space for layering ingredients or accommodating large cuts of meat, while dual stay-cool handles make for easy maneuvering in and out of the oven. Designed to go seamlessly from oven to table, the Oval Gratin combines durability, beauty, and performance in one essential roasting pan.

Is Your Carbon Steel Oven Safe?

Yes! Our Carbon Steel Cookware works on the stovetop, on the grill, and in the oven.

Is Carbon Steel Good for Cooking?

Carbon Steel is great for cooking at high temperatures. From stir fry, to fried eggs, omelets, and plenty more, our construction eliminates hot spots, and the separate stainless steel handle makes it much better than a cast iron skillet.

What is the difference between Carbon steel and Stainless Steel?

One of the biggest differences between these two materials is that Carbon Steel requires seasoning. However, both heat well, and are great for home cooks.

What's the difference between Seasoned and Unseasoned?

Seasoning helps your pan develop a non stick surface, makes clean up easier, and keeps the surface of your pan protected from rust and corrosion. With our Seasoned pans, we’ve taken care of the first two seasonings so you can get cooking faster than ever.
